As I alluded to on Friday I want to blog this wedding couple sooooo bad! The bride was *gorgeous* in her dress and everything was just perfect for their New Year’s Eve wedding on 12/31/2011 in Augusta, Georgia at the Fort Gordon Officer’s Club – coincidentally, at Fort Gordon. Out of respect for the couple I’m only going to post some of the amazing details from this traditional conservative Pakistani wedding. Hopefully these Desi wedding details will be an inspiration to Pakistani, Indian, and Bengali brides in Atlanta (and I will get some Google help with that very keyword-laded sentence right there!). This was our very last wedding of 2011 – well it sort of had to be since we were shooting on New Year’s Eve and went into New Year’s Day by the time we were over. I can finally start to post weddings and engagement sessions from 2012 now! Ok, on to the details for this amazing Pakistani wedding! First, details at the bride’s home:
I force Betty to take photos of me in action for the blog…
Wedding details at the Fort Gordon Officer’s Club
Pakistani Bride wedding details with henna and jewelry:
More of me asking Betty to take some action photos while I do videography for the wedding to use later in the blog… hence this post!
Did I mention that her dress was amazingly gorgeous?
Her Churis (bangles):
The exit from the Fort Gordon Officer’s Club at approximately 11:55 PM on New Year’s Eve! We all counted down and rang in the New Year together on the steps of the wedding venue, ushering in a great 2012 with the union of these two wonderful people.
After the wedding, we drove up to the Augusta Marriott Hotel where the bride and groom would be staying and took a few more awesome portraits inside the hotel lobby. I will only share these two because I think they are sufficiently discreet enough and some of my favorite “artsy” portraits of the day!
Congratulations on your marriage! We were so excited to be a part of your special day and can’t wait to see you again in a few months when we provide photography and videography services to your families in their upcoming Augusta Pakistani weddings!
