It’s that time of year again, to look back and reflect on another CRAZY year of weddings! We traveled as far as Playa del Carmen, Mexico and Sedona, Arizona for weddings and as close as 1/2 mile away to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis which is right around the corner from us and could literally walk to! It’s been a really good year though, with more wonderful brides and grooms, and lots of growth as a photographer. Posts like these make me reflect on just how much we’ve improved since those early weddings to where we are now, and also to where we are going. Looking back, 37 seven is the magic number this year – THIRTY SEVEN WEDDINGS! That’s not counting the numerous engagement shoots and bridal shoots of course. And, if you count all of the South Asian weddings that we photographed this year, and we photographed a lot of Indian and Pakistani weddings in Atlanta and beyond, we did 48 “wedding days” in total including all of the Sangeets, Baraats, Mehndis, and Valimas =). Speaking of which, I still have a wedding this weekend and the weekend after, so our work is not done yet! I was debating whether to post this after those weddings, but with the holidays coming up I also wanted people to be able to enjoy all of these beautiful wedding photos over the break! If you remember our 2011 year-end wrap up post, I’m going to try to keep this one to be just my favorite photos and not post every single wedding. Come scroll down this page with me as we revisit a stellar 2012, and he’s to an even better 2013!
