Another wedding from the hot Summer in Atlanta which takes me back to warmer days as I sit here writing this blog post in the cold New York Winter =). Sue and Sunny had a Hindu wedding but this one was a little unique for myself personally because instead of a familiar Indian or Pakistani wedding this was a Guyanese wedding. Most of the Hindu wedding ceremonies were very similar but as is the case with most Indian weddings I photograph their are always a few unique ceremonies and traditions that keep every single wedding fresh and exciting! This blog post is just the first day’s Hindu wedding ceremonies, and the following day was a giant reception for their friends and family in the Guyana community in Atlanta. Sunny’s friends and family are from New Jersey and brought a bit of that Northern tradition to the fun and festivities!
