H & E’s Nigerian Wedding | Pleasant Hills Presbyterian & KTN Ballroom | Duluth Wedding Photographer

This wedding has the honor of being the first wedding blog post of 2012 (Sunday’s goal setting post has the honor of being published on 1/1/2012, even though it’s a wedding from 2011. Still getting caught up around these parts =). H & E first booked us in January or February… it was so long ago that I don’t really remember! Betty was still pregnant with Miles so it had to be before 2/24 at least, time sure does fly when you’re having fun. After months of preparation, H’s wedding of her dreams finally came true. We met up with H & E who had rooms across the hall from each other at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast and began the biggest day of their lives!

After leaving the hotel we headed to the wedding venue, Pleasant Hill Presbyterian in nearby Duluth, GA.

For the final venue we headed literally around the corner to the KTN Ballroom, which is tucked down in a nondescript office/industrial park but surprisingly was perfect for a wedding reception! All the way down the end of this road, attached to one of Atlanta’s Korean television stations, is their ballroom. Details…

While we were awaiting the final touches to the Nigerian cuisine and for guests to arrive from the church, Betty and I snuck H & E out to take some wedding day portraits. No wonder E calls himself “Superman,” he looked amazing all day and almost caught up to H’s beauty in her dress from Bridals by Lori that everyone is still raving about.

Ok we finally had to head back indoors and get this party started, and party we did all night long!! When H & E entered the room dancing, I think that set the tone for the evening.

And finally to cap things off they changed into traditional Nigerian attire for the final hours of the night… and of course danced their way back into the ballroom…
