Friday Preview | Rosanna & Doug's Cambodian Engagement Session
“So, you specialize in multicultural weddings?” After chatting with a few brides-to-be this week over emails and in person bridal consultations, all of them came to similar conclusions. Reviewing our work from last year and the weddings we have coming up this year I can see why though, and it really happened by accident I think, like, it’s not something you really tell yourself when you set out on this journey to be a wedding photographer. Monday’s forthcoming blog post for Rosanna and Doug, previewed here, is a perfect example =). This was a traditional Cambodian engagement ceremony held in Rosanna’s family home, and was a very unique experience and one I was proud to be a part of. It felt almost like a mini-wedding rather than what we consider a “typical” American engagement session!

Check back on Monday for more awesome photos from my favorite 2013 wedding couple! I’ve got a wedding down South at Tryphena’s Gardens in Fort Valley, Georgia (near Perry, GA… which is near Macon… yeah I had to Google Maps it too) on Saturday, so look for some more weddings to hit the blog soon as the 2012 wedding season gets in full swing!
