Behind the Scenes Vlog 2 | Leena & Rahul Engagement Shoot in New York City

Behind the Scenes Vlog Travel Wedding

Another week, another behind the scenes vlog! As wedding season truly begins, I hope to keep continuing this as a regular feature here on the blog, YouTube, and facebook where these are posted! Just like the previous episode of the vlog, I shot this entirely on the Sony A7ii which I carried with me around the city, in addition to my 5D Mark IV that I shot most of this engagement session with :). Leena and Rahul drove up to Manhattan from Baltimore and we had a great, but chilly, Saturday running around New York City! Technically Spring has already started, right??? Well, the 40 degree and windy weather we had says otherwise but at least the rain from earlier in the week stopped in time for their photo shoot! Great couple, and I can’t wait for their Atlanta Indian wedding in just about 8 weeks now!

Here are a few photos from Saturday as well, to see how all these behind the scenes antics turned out :). And yes, as you see in the video, the sunset was really that orange in Brooklyn!!

Kanwal & Ali’s Dholki/Pithi | Occasions Event Hall | Atlanta Indian Wedding Photography
Following up yesterday's post with photos from the pre-wedding session at the Aviation Wing of the Marietta Museum of History, here is Kanwal & Ali's Dholki! Someone more familiar with Atlanta Indian Weddings may be able to tell me if this was just Dholki or rather Pithi and Sangeet as well all wrapped up in one? =) After the beautiful wedding shoot earlier in the day the bride and groom headed off to change for the evening and we headed over to Occasions Event Hall to set up for the evening's events! This was a fun-filled and colorful evening of fun and dancing, we seriously had an amazing time with such energy in the room! On to the pho ...

Manhattanhenge 2016 Times Square NYC
Manhattanhenge 2016 in Times Square, New York City
This year's second Manhattanhenge took place last night, July 11th, and I was actually in town not traveling for a wedding like the first time it happened this year! I happened to also have a quick meeting with a bride in New York City yesterday for her upcoming destination Indian wedding, so it worked out perfectly to hang around NYC for a few extra hours to catch the sunset! With the sunset only lasting a few minutes, I didn't have enough time to walk to a second location in the city like 34th street, which also seemed like it would produce a pretty cool photo based on some quick location scouting earlier in the day due to it bei ...

Atlanta Indian Wedding Video Highlight Trailer | Hilton Atlanta Northeast
Here is a quick post of a highlight trailer from a recent Indian wedding which took place in Atlanta right before we moved to New York. Just a quick highlight trailer from the wedding where we covered both photography and videography for this one day Hindu Indian wedding in Atlanta, Georgia. Bonus points if you can name the song I used in the first montage of highlight clips ;)
