Tuesday Learnshop on Astrophotography with the Southeastern Photographic Society
Not related to wedding photography, but last night I presented to our local camera club, the Southeastern Photographic Society, on Astrophotography and Time-Lapse photography. We had about 70 people in attendance, if my headcount was correct, though I saw more people streaming into the room here and there due to the rain we got here in Atlanta right at rush hour.
Here is a quick iPhone photo during Carl’s first half presentation on the technical side of astrophotography.
For the second hour, I presented on time-lapse and how it relates to astrophotography. Here is the exact slideshow from last night which I uploaded to Slideshare:
If you have any questions about Time-Lapse photography or Astrophotography just send me an email! I’m looking forward to doing more astrophotography this year in 2012 during our destination weddings away from Atlanta’s city lights and taking some general trips here and there to darker areas of Georgia.
Hello,
I was trying to get some tips for astrophotography. I’ve never done it and I’ll be going to Brasstown Bald this Saturday to take some pictures at night.
Could you please send me your PP presentation as well as any tips you can give me?
I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in adavance,
Elizabeth
