Miles' First Birthday Party

Last Friday was Miles’ first birthday! On 2/24/2011 Miles entered this world at Piedmont Hospital and we became two proud parent’s of the best baby in the whole wide world (in our opinion). This year Miles’ birthday, the 24th, fell on a Friday so we had a small party for him on Saturday. We have to thank Yoshiko for her Cakebelle cake of a panda for our little panda.

First, we had to get Miles all clean for his big day!

Next on Saturday, Yoshiko delivered her panda cake for Miles and we cleaned up Miles’ toys to make the house a little more presentable to have people over… =)

Saturday was also the last day that Betty’s Mom was with us, she flew back to China the following day on Sunday. Betty and I really enjoyed the six months that she was here helping out, but it’s back to reality for us!!!

Later in the afternoon after Miles’ infant swimming class at Georgia State University, Betty’s classmate Wei and her family came to visit for the birthday party. Miles had a good time playing with his friend Leo and socializing a bit.

Miles received a new wooden train from Wei and Thierry and has been happily playing with them all week. Thank you Wei, Thierry, and Leo!
