Trang | New York City Casual Fashion Shoot | Bryant Park NYPL
A couple of weeks ago my friend Trang, who you may remember as the florist at Rosa and Bobby’s Atlanta Vietnamese wedding, was visiting New York City for a mini vacation so we met up one day to hang out and suffer in front of my camera on a casual model/fashion shoot! It was actually a perfect day weather-wise to be out in the city as Spring weather was here (unlike this week’s rather cold chill for mid-April), so we met up at Union Square before wandering around the area by NYU before grabbing some lunch at Momofuku. After a nice lunch, and enying Trang’s choice of the cold noodles which looked amazing, we headed a bit uptown so I could run a quick errand near Times Square. Since we were in Midtown anyways we walked over to Bryant Park and the New York Public Library to see a bit more of the cultural side of New York City rather than just the touristy areas of Times Square.

This is our fun behind the scenes photo at Bryant Park, since this is New York City, there are people everywhere haha. Trang really got some great air in her jump there though :). After this we walked over to the other side of the park and explored the NYPL to take in some of the amazing architecture inside, and for Trang to do a quick change of clothes to show off those tattoos ;). I’m not totally sure you’re allowed to take photos inside the library, but all of the tourists are taking snaps with their iPhones and selfie sticks so we just went for it and grabbed a few photos here and there in between checking out the rooms and the exhibits.

The awkwardness continued on the front steps of the NYPL with just some fun shots of Trang in the city that never sleeps :).

Thank you so much Trang for hanging out for an afternoon in the city with me, grabbing some lunch and coffee, and being a quick model in Midtown Manhattan 🙂
