Winter Park Model Shoot with Elizabeth Vasquez

Betty has been to a few of the local Central Florida Models & Photographers group meetings from meetup.com where she met one more looking to add to her portfolio. We met up with Elizabeth Vasquez and her daughter Aaliyah in downtown Winter Park on the beautiful Park Avenue. Look for some separate photos of Aaliyah in a future post!

Elizabeth does modeling part time and has a great sense for what to give the camera. Having that experience helped me as a photographer because she had some poses in mind and how to tilt and turn to put her best looks forward.

I tried my best to provide feedback to Elizabeth during the shoot and to help her think creatively. As always it’s creating that relationship between model and photographer that helps the image come alive. Shooting in a fun, interesting location such as Park Avenue in Winter Park doesn’t hurt either!

This is a rather brief post with just our favorite photos from the shoot. We only shot for about an hour in Winter Park but that was more than enough time. I think both Elizabeth and I were pretty worn out from a fun and engaging fashion/model shoot. I hope we can meet up again with Elizabeth or the other models from meetup.com!
