Thanksgiving Wrap-Up!

Final Thanksgiving post, I swear!! On Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, we went over to my grandfather’s house so that Miles could meet his Great Grandfather who is 89! Well okay on the way over we had to make a quick detour for my Mom to stop by Shoe Carnival and check out the sales. Luckily I think the crowds there were MUCH less hectic than the Target that is in the same shopping center. Betty did end up picking up a new pair of work shoes that were like $40 off, so I guess the trip wasn’t totally wasted. Okay, so once we did get to Great Granddad’s house Miles was his normal happy self, until some stranger tried to hold him. We didn’t get one photo were Miles wasn’t upset and crying =(

Of course once Mommy holds him, he’s fine!!

Okay so we tried the old trick of having Betty hold Miles while everyone else is just nearby at least…

Later that afternoon I wanted to keep trying out our new flash so we asked Mom and Mark to pose for photos together. We wanted a bit of a unique “Florida” background so we headed down to North Shore Park in Downtown St. Pete which has a little beach of it’s own without having to drive all of the way to Clearwater.

Ok and that’s about it for photos that we took on vacation! Sorry for the THIRD family photography post! On Saturday I headed over to Lakes Wales (which is sort of near Orlando) to meet up with my former colleagues for a lighting workshop at Bok Tower Gardens. We had an awesome time and really wish we could have spent longer there but that darn sun sets so early this time of year and Fion and Tomomi had to head off to a Thanksgiving dinner party.
