Sydney Australia Destination Indian Wedding | Natasha & Karim’s Nikkah at Sydney Jamatkhana and Parra Villa Function Lounge
If you are following along on this blog, or if you’ve arrived to this specific post via Google, be sure to check out Natasha & Karim’s other wedding day events here:
Natasha & Karim’s Mehndi at home in Parramatta, NSW
Natasha & Karim’s Pre-Wedding Photos at Parramatta City Park
Natasha & Karim’s Civil Ceremony & Pithi Ceremony at Parra Villa Function Lounge
Reception in Sydney Harbour and Photo Shoot at the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay
Satada Luncheon in Parramatta
Today is the big day though on the blog! The Nikkah ceremony is the official Islamic wedding ceremony and took place at the Sydney Jamatkhana, just outside of Parramatta where the previous events were held and where we were all staying while in Australia. The day of course started slightly before the ceremony, back at Natasha and Karim’s apartment where everyone was getting ready for the big event.
Karim arrived ready to pick up his bride, but not before the traditional “challenge” to gain entry
Right before entering and beginning the Nikkah ceremony
And after! Officially husband and wife!
Afterwards we left to go do Khoba Khobi before changing again for the reception
Back to the apartment in Parramatta and preparing for the evening’s reception!
…and we’re back at Parra Villa Function Lounge! =)
As I have been writing at the end of every blog post about this Sydney Australia destination Indian wedding… but wait, there’s more! Two more events to blog about, the cruise reception in Sydney Harbour, and the Satada on the following afternoon. We’re almost done though, unfortunately :(.
