Shai & D Engagement | Lake Lanier Stables & Emory | Atlanta Indian Wedding Photographer
Another oldie but goodie, here’s what I was talking about in my last blog post, another photo session at Lake Lanier Stables with the beautiful horses! This time it was for Shai & D’s Fusion Ismaili Hindu Indian Wedding’s engagement session. Well, after a photo session at Emory in Atlanta of course, which is what is up first here on the blog! First let’s look at the earlier engagement session at Emory University in Atlanta where Shai wore a traditional Pakistani outfit and D didn’t wear anything traditionally Indian, unless you consider a suit the universal standard for men 🙂

Back then, the new wheel near Centennial Olympic Park had just opened up so we did a quick silhouette there!

The second part of this engagement session was up at Lake Lanier Islands for a session at the stables with a horse! This was definitely a first for me having deal with such a huge “extra” in the engagement session! It’s not quite as easy as saying pose here, look there, when you have a giant animal with you! While we did have the horse’s trainer with us the entire time, it was definitely an experience!

Everything looks so clam, until she starts wandering around on her own as horses will do 🙂

After we returned the horse we did a little more inside the barn at Lake Lanier Stables.

When your son casually decides to start playing with the props and photo bombs your engagement session!

Aaaaaand good night! Another late night, and up there by Lake Lanier at the horse stables it’s a little clearer skies than down in Atlanta, so we were able to get a few stars in the clear evening sky. It’s not a crazy Milky Way shot like I’ve done before (needs to be darker for that), but still a great photo for the couple during their engagement session for sure!
Be sure to click here to see their actual wedding photos and here for day 2! This blog post is just me “catching up” and finally posting something that I somehow never got up on the blog, even though it was on Facebook and everywhere else of course 🙂
