Destination Indian Ismaili Wedding in Cocoa Beach, FL
It is like a treasure hunt for me finding all of these old engagement sessions and Indian weddings in Atlanta and New York that were edited, delivered, Facebooked… but never blogged! This wedding wasn’t THAT long ago and it definitely was one of my favorite from the whole year! If you read my “Best of 2015” blog post with some of my favorite images from the year, you will remember a lot of these photos as this destination Indian Ismaili wedding was crazy awesome! Dilshad and Sabir’s destination Indian Ismaili wedding in Cocoa Beach, FL was the perfect way to kick off the new year, literally taking place on January 2nd for an epic Ismaili wedding that won’t be soon forgotten! Let’s jump straight into the action of Pithi / Sangeet / Garba night and then into the Nikkah and reception night here on the blog!
Pithi + Garba
Nikkah + Reception
After an amazing day 2 with the Pithi ceremony and Sangeet/Garba night, we were ready for the grand event of this destination ismaili indian wedding in Cocoa Beach, Florida! Nikkah day began with getting ready in the hotel, before moving downstairs where the Nikkah ceremony took place.
Following the Nikkah ceremony we snuck down to the actual beach itself for some wedding portraits down by the water! Atlanta and New York are nice and all for Indian Wedding photography, but there’s something about the beach and doing destination weddings!
The reception began after a short break later that day. Have to have time to prep the rooms and more importantly change outfits for what will be an epic reception night to remember! When you have former members of a bhangra dance team in attendance, you know you’re in for a visual treat. This is one of the best parts of doing Indian weddings not just in Atlanta and New York, but destination Indian Ismaili weddings, everyone becomes one giant family!
With the performances over, it was time for the dance floor to open up and DJ Jaz to get this party started!
Thanks to the other vendors at this wedding to make everything possible and beautiful for us to photograph! The whole Atlanta Destination Indian Ismaili Wedding crew made the trip down to Cocoa Beach!
