Rosanna & Doug's Wedding - Day 2 | Cambodian Ceremony & Canton House Reception | Atlanta Cambodian Wedding Photography
Day 2 of this amazing Cambodian fusion wedding is on the blog today, hooray! Of course if you missed the first day’s events, which consisted of a Western wedding ceremony at the Gwinnett Environmental Heritage Center followed by the beginning of the Cambodian wedding ceremony which was the blessing of the monks, click this highlighted text link to read it now! The second day of Rosanna and Doug’s wedding started super early… well, for me anyways, anything before 10:00am is early =). Of course it does take a bit of time to put on those amazing traditional Cambodian wedding dresses and outfits for the groom, groomsmen, and bridesmaids! Lots of events happening, so consequently, lots and lots of photos in this blog post! Keep scrolls to see all of the amazing Cambodian wedding rituals such as the hair cutting ceremony, holding the sword, and more before the weddings kicks into even higher gear as the reception runs throughout the night at Canton House in Atlanta! Keep scrolling and thanks for viewing this rather lengthy Cambodian Khmer wedding blog post!
The first part of the Cambodian wedding ceremony involved the groom (Doug) bringing gifts and offerings to the bride’s (Rosanna) house while the elders debated whether the offering was sufficient.
The wedding party processional moved inside for the first Cambodian Khmer wedding ceremony including the exchanging of rings and other blessing rituals.
Thus brought an end to the first traditional Cambodian wedding ceremony, which meant the wedding party was briefly excused to change outfits while the guests in attendance had a quick break as well.
Now it is time for the second Cambodian wedding ritual, the hair cutting ceremony.
And the gong symbols the end of the second traditional Cambodian wedding ceremony for the morning! Time for another outfit change and the next sword ceremony!

Next up was a ritual where the wedding party (bridesmaids and groomsmen) got their chance to “feed” the couple, and I use that term loosely in quotes as you will see =)
Rosanna and Doug changed into one more outfit just for a few quick photos, which of course I was happy to oblige!
On to Canton House for the reception!
The girls practicing for their dance routine later in the evening
While setting up some of the restaurant guests at Canton House thought Rosanna & Doug’s engagement sign-in photo was pretty awesome and wanted their own version =) Too funny!
Time to kick this reception off and into high gear! Everyone made an epic dance entrance of course =)
At the end of the first dance, things switched up to Doug and Rosanna (and the entire wedding party) getting down and dancing flash mob style including an epic dancing/rapping to “Low” by Flo Rida & T-Pain at the end when Doug grabs the mic!
Thanks for the awesome weekend, we love you guys! Here is a quick list of some of the vendors that worked together to make this Atlanta Cambodian Fusion Wedding amazing in every single way!!
