Rita & Andre: In Love | Piedmont Park, Midtown Atlanta | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

I think I can finally take the wraps off another amazing engagement shoot we had with another of our rockstar brides and grooms: Rita and Andre! Their wedding is coming up shortly so they were anxious to get their engagement photos done and get the ball rolling on a host of other wedding activities. A great benefit to having an engagement session, besides having a fun excuse to dress up, is that the photos can then be used for Save the Date cards, wedding favors, guest books, just about anything! We had another rainy weekend here in Atlanta, but that didn’t stop these two from getting decked out to the nines and staying full of energy for their engagement shoot. Rita showed up looking fabulous with her hair done up vastly different from when I first met her in person during our wedding consultation.

Can you say, amazing?

We did hit some rain early on in the shoot, but that didn’t bother us and we made the best of it running along the path along Lake Clara Meer as fast as we could. While on the one hand it meant we missed out on the stroll along the lake, on the other hand it got us moving and taking some amazing photos elsewhere in Piedmont Park.

This photo is all about selective shooting, what you didn’t see next to the beautiful couple with no care in the world are the two men fishing about five feet away. When you’re in love all the world just fades around you…

Stop being so cute you two! After these photos we headed over towards the tennis center and did a quick wardrobe change in the pool’s bathrooms, continuing to the other end of Piedmont Park for more amazing engagement photos!

Are these two a fun couple or WHAT!?!? We had an absolutely amazing time, and Rita was by no means camera shy (if you couldn’t tell). Apparently Rita is also a shutterbug herself regularly snapping photos of the family’s adventures, so Andre was used to being in front of a camera at all times, lol!

We couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a few shots of the gorgeous Midtown Atlanta skyline, so we took some quick photos before our third wardrobe came out and Rita put on her amazing little purple dress.

We found this little hidden alcove that had the most amazing colors of Fall and Spring with the rich greens and reddish browns. The contrast with Rita’s purple dress just made these photos my absolute favorites from the shoot.

Ok Andre, we know you’re a true man’s man now 🙂

Ok, so not every photo is “eat your heart our theknot/junebugweddings brides” we know how to have fun too. Rita and Andre apparently start skipping randomly in public but I wouldn’t expect anything less from this amazing couple.
