I’ve been pretty good about pumping out the wedding-related posts, and even recently doing a quick write-up of a new restaurant in Downtown Altanta. What I have not done recently, is shared any personal photos of just our normal life, which mostly revolves around Miles of course. Well, most days for us are really not that exciting with a schedule of waking up, taking Miles to the park and/or museum, while either Betty works on her dissertation or I edit wedding photos/videos. A couple of weeks ago when it was still relatively chilly out, we headed up to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to take Betty’s PhD classmate and visiting professor from Chengdu, Jing (and her husband Ping), on a roadtrip! If you do read every post on this blog (or are Facebook friends with me) you will have seen Jing and Ping before while they’ve been here. First, a few photos of Miles running around downtown taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M5…

Now, for our roadtrip!

Unfortunately, the weekend we decided to drive up to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of the main roads was closed due to a landslide! So we only were able to drive a few miles into the park and not all the way to locations like Clingman’s Dome =(. Any time Miles doesn’t have to wear pants is a good day for him (he spilled juice in the car right before these photos)

Exploring further into the park, and with Miles’ change of pants!

And finally, a quick random video from the trip:
