New York City Christmas 2015 | Sony A7ii Travel Photography
New York City Christmas
Even with this unseasonably warm Winter, it still looks like Christmas all around New York City! With the holiday displays in the windows and the lights installations around Manhattan, you can’t help but feel the holiday magic (even if it’s 60 degrees outside)! Being a Floridian at heart I think I’ll take this warm weather, but I did wish we had a White Christmas this year for Miles to see =). All photos taken here with the Sony A7ii and Zeiss 16-35mm f/4 OSS lens of course!

Bryant Park’s fountain has not frozen yet, and the Winter Village with ice skating is full of people for the holidays!

Rockefeller Center with the Christmas tree and ice rink

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were filming Saturday Night Live promos at Rockefeller Center, and of course it was swarming with people! You can sort of catch Tina Fey in the center of this photo… somewhere…

Back in Midtown, the holiday art installations are amazing and really make New York City feel festive!

Radio City Music Hall alight with it’s Christmas Tree.

Lord & Taylor’s holiday windows were a hit, turning their scaffolding into a holiday scene on the sidewalk.

Macy’s flagship store at Herald Square, always one of my favorite parts of the holidays! We didn’t do Santaland this year, I think once is enough 🙂
Thanks for seeing New York City at Christmas time through my quick one day excursion with my handy Sony A7ii!
