Nasrine + Amir Engagement Session | Centennial Olympic Park | Atlanta Indian Wedding Photographer
Summer is almost over!! Happy August 1st! Wait, this is Atlanta… it’s been over 90 degrees every single day for the past couple of weeks (14 to be exact according to 11Alive)! I had to throw that out there as we head into the end of Summer months in August. While I don’t think the rest of the nation has had it any cooler, we’ve been pretty darn hot here in Atlanta and I am really looking forward to the Fall. Not really looking forward to January/February and snow like last year, but cooler weather for sure!

Even though these two cool kids seem happy their engagement session at the beginning of June, we were all SO HOT this evening at Centennial Olympic Park in Downtown Atlanta! We stayed over on the East side of Olympic Park where the trees and waterfalls were more prevalent to attempt to cool down a little bit, but were were all still drinking a lot of water during the hour and a half session.
I love looking back on these photos knowing that just last weekend we photographed and videoed their Indian wedding! Betty was the primary photographer expertly taking photos during the Henna party and two days of ceremonies afterwards while I was on videography duty recording all of the magic using three cameras, crazy!

Once I got them warmed up a bit in front of the camera this engagement session was a huge success! Amir and Nasrine met each other in high school and have been dating for 8 years already. Supposedly the story goes that Amir started dating one of Nasrine’s friends but eventually was captivated by Naz and they have been together ever since! Such a sweet story that has finally reached a touching conclusion to the “Introduction” part of the story as we move ahead to the next page of married life.

After finishing up on the green side of the park we moved over to the big green lawn to play around a bit with off camera flash for a few photos during their engagement session. Why did I need off camera flash? All of the previous photos were using natural available light, and these photos were taken with available light as well – I had a flash available to me! 🙂

Ok so the jump photo didn’t come out exactly as planned but with the heat I didn’t ask them to jump more than twice :p. As the sun set on this June afternoon we walked back to the Fountain of Rings and wrapped up another successful engagement session! I love these two!

Congratulations Amir and Nasrine! It was our honor to be your photographer for your engagement session and then wedding a month later! We had so much fun at both events that we can’t even begin to describe! I can’t wait to share your actual wedding photos and wedding video on the blog that I am editing right now!
