Khammy's Bridal Portrait Session | Anna Ruby Falls | Helen, Georgia Wedding Photographer
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I just got back from a whirlwind weekend down in Florida visiting family, doing a beachside photo shoot in Clearwater, and then two days of Indian wedding festivities with Xee and Farhan in Fort Myers on the 23rd and 24th! I just got back to Atlanta a few hours ago to make sure I saw Miles on Christmas Day at least! While I recover from some late nights and LOTS of driving, I’m going to bring you a very short post from Khammy’s bridal portrait session in mid-October up at Anna Ruby Falls.
First of all, isn’t Khammy amazing? I know I can easily say that about all of our brides but on this rainy October afternoon Khammy really shined with her inner resolve to make awesome photos and undeniable outer beauty to match. We arrived at Anna Ruby Falls with only about an hour to go before the park closed because they had just changed to Winter hours I guess, argh! Add to the fact that just as we passed through the quaint town of Helen, Georgia the rain started falling. If you look close you can see the rain drops streaking in some of the photos, and Khammy was a total trooper as we set up as fast as we could to make some amazing photos.
The “FengLong Bride” having amazing resolve to make amazing photos seems to be a trend lately. Khammy was prancing around the waterfalls and rocks in the rain and just last night (as of this writing) I was hanging out on Ft. Myers Beach at 3:00 AM IN THE MORNING with Zena and Farhan on CHRISTMAS EVE taking their wedding portraits after the ceremony! Craziness!!
Back to Khammy’s story, we only had time to make a few portraits in a couple areas around the waterfalls because of our time crunch, and upon leaving the park the skies were still black with total cloud coverage. As we were driving back South the clouds showed the slightest break so we sped around looking for some sort of background to use for some last minute photos. Luckily 10 minutes later we found this field with some sort of mound. So Khammy jumped out of the car and we did a few quick poses literally on the side of the highway as cars sped past us 3 feet away.
All in all we had a lot of fun just prancing around in Khammy’s HUGE wedding dress. Well it might just seem huge because Khammy is like a size -2 and maybe weighs 80 pounds after all of that rain, but it was a really large and fun wedding gown. Thank you sooooo so much Khammy for taking the day to head up to Anna Ruby Falls with me!
That wraps up today’s post, I’ll be recovering from this past weekend’s festivities and getting ready for Zena and Farhan’s Atlanta reception on Wednesday! Might try to sneak in another blog post somewhere though, Happy Holidays and get ready for New Year’s!
