How We Spent Our Weekend: Baby Birthday Party, Infant Swimming, and a Bachelor Party

First birthday party for Leo, Infant swimming at GSU, and a bachelorette party and a bachelor party in Atlanta! How Zac & Betty spent their weekend!

Betty and I don’t usually get to be social on weekends, but this was an exception. We’re still in the off season for the most part around here, but I am still diligently editing away on Elizabeth & Greg’s wedding and Mahmood & Sundus’ engagement. Working at a bit slower pace since I upgraded from Lightroom 3.5 to Lightroom 4 Beta, so learning the new software features is a bit of a pain, but I’m moving faster each day and I’d rather get the painful learning curve out of the way during this relatively slow time than during the Spring Atlanta wedding rush!

To start things off on Saturday, Miles had an infant swimming class at the GSU Student Recreation Center. Now that the new semester is in session, Miles’ classes have started up again after the Winter break. After swimming in the morning we went to Betty’s classmate’s house up in Sandy Springs for Leo’s first birthday celebration!

Wei cooked some great traditional Chinese dishes and we had a late snack while Leo and Miles played together. Finally on Saturday night we headed over to Jess & John’s place to join them for a late dinner once Miles went to sleep. Which leads us into Sunday where Betty headed off with Jess and the girls and I went out with John for some pre-wedding Bachelorette/Bachelor Parties. Nothing crazy here at Noon on a Sunday! The girls went out for Dim Sum and foot massages and I joined John and Ben at Quick Shot Shooting Range before heading over to Highland Cigar Co. Of course I had to take some photos, since this was a tame stripper-free bachelor party.

It was a nice relaxing Sunday, and this marks the first time I’ve smoked a cigar since Nate’s bachelor party in Miami so many moons ago. I think John’s going to get a round of cigars for the actual wedding in less than two weeks now in Mexico for the guys while the girls get their hair and makeup done on the day of the ceremony. A few more quick photos as John tried to get a photogenic puff for me:
