Sorry for this blog post not going live on Monday, but Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! Congratulations Celisse & Richard! I had a ton of fun at this wedding, my first Liberian wedding, with two days of celebrations! While I have photographed a few Nigerian weddings around Atlanta, their are definitely different traditions between the two countries. The first night started off at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Marietta for the traditional Liberian ceremony. The rest of the wedding weekend was also in Marietta but at Turner Chapel for the ceremony and the Hilton Marietta for the preparation/reception. Such a fun weekend with an amazing couple, thank you so much to Maria and her team from Maria Thacker Events for keeping us organized and everything running so smoothly!
