Yes I know this post is coming on December 1st… and this photo shoot happened back in September… argh! This shoot didn’t come up in my normal queue of things to blog because it wasn’t technically an engagement session and shhhhh don’t suggest to Jodi that it was! Jodi and Jack extended us a huge outpouring of hospitality to put up with us plus Miles for the night when we drove down for Jessica and Phil’s wedding in Winter Park. We spent the night at Jodi’s apartment in Winter Park after the rehearsal dinner on Friday night and then the next morning Jodi whipped up some kimchi pajeon (Korean pancakes) for us.
Ok I’m not really a food photographer and these were quick snaps in the living room, but trust me that they tasted good! Pajeon is sort of like a “normal” pancake but has a bit more of a solid consistency to the dough which isn’t really dough… ok that description was really bad! The main feature of pajeon are the green onions and then whatever topping you like, in this case kimchi which might be a love it or hate it type of food anyway =). After breakfast and before we headed off to Jess’ condo we did a portrait session around the apartment complex with Jodi and Jack. I’m still waiting for them to give me a call for their REAL engagement session and will be back down to Orlando in a split second!

After doing a couple of headshots for Jodi to update her various websites with we got into the “couple’s” session!

Once we went inside Jodi joked that this is what they are really like as a couple =)
I would normally say something like “congratulations to the couple!” but this wasn’t an official engagement session so it’s best to call this simply a couples’ portrait session =)
