Saving the best for last… Mckenzie & Gary’s Wedding at the Roswell Mill Club
Our final wedding shoot of 2010, and another awesome wedding photographed for Chris Brock’s Premier Wedding Photography Group. Betty and I took these photos about 6 weeks ago from this posting, but being the last wedding before the holidays we did want to spread out the blog love from the Fall weddings before the Holidays. I’m sure you looooved the blog posts on iPhonography and a Holiday Camera Buying Guide for 2010, but what you really want to see are some photos of beautiful brides and dashing grooms, right?
Mckenzie and Gary were an amazing couple with a large family that was larger than life as well (in a good way!). We first met them at the Holiday Inn Roswell, where Mckenize and her sister Michelle were together getting ready. Michelle is a professional hair stylist, so the bride and bridesmaids were in good hands this morning – even one of the little ones got a quick haircut from Aunt Michelle before the wedding. In between the girls getting ready, I jumped over to the La Quinta Inn where Gary and the boys were getting ready while Betty stayed behind with the girls. After Gary and his fathers finished getting ready, we all departed the hotels and met up at the wedding venue, the Roswell Mill Club.
The neat thing about the Roswell Mill Club, besides having a gorgeous facility in it’s own right – is that it is located next to the historic Old Roswell Mill, which has an amazing covered bridge over Vickery Creek which just begs to have photos taken under!!
Are these two an amazing couple or what?!?! We had a lot of fun photographing the families and the wedding party before moving on to a few portraits with Mckenzie and Gary alone. Mckenzie was stunning in her dress and was really rocking these portraits!
Then… it was time for the ceremony. We headed back up to the Roswell Mill Club where the ceremony was held outdoors on the patio area. With the vista of the Roswell Mill to the side and the wooden flooring giving the setting a charming look, what’s not to love?
After the ceremony we stole Mckenzie and Gary for one last set of formal photos before the reception fully began. These are some of my favorite photos from their wedding and my favorite photos of the year! I love this couple!
We danced the night away after a fun family-filled ceremony. Everyone in that family knows how to have a good time and keep things hopping! Events Catering did a great job making sure everything was perfect throughout the evening, we couldn’t have asked for a better or a better venue for our final wedding of 2010. Thank you Mckenzie and Gary for everything and we wish you much happiness in the future!
