How to Get Published as a Wedding Photographer… in a few easy steps.
1. Work really hard perfecting your photography craft and creating works of art for your clients. (Shots from last weekend’s sessions on Friday with Yashoda and Saturday with Sophear & Jake)

2. Photograph a ton of weddings to build your experience and name recognition, create these same masterpieces in 10 minutes or less while covering everything else that happens on a wedding day.

3. Get noticed by a national organization and published in their quarterly publication!

4. Win!

Ok, so obviously this post was a bit of a joke, but we really did get published in the National Park Conservation Association‘s quarterly publication for the Southeast Region, the Summer Field Report 2011! That’s my photo in the bottom left corner of a Great Blue Heron which was taken at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area last November when Betty and I went on an exploring trip. Thank you so much Nicole Yin from the NPCA for discovering our work! On a more serious note we are trying to get published a bit more and submitting our wedding photography work to blogs and other publications. If you are a wedding blogger and would like to feature any of our wedding photos from places like the Wimbish House, Roswell Mill Club, Primrose Cottage, Vines Mansion, Ventanas Atlanta, Zyka, or anywhere else we have shot a wedding just shoot us an email!
I’m still jet lagged a bit from coming back from the West Coast but I promise to have more promising content SOOOOOON! Thanks to everyone that has recently liked our page on Facebook and is a new friend of the FengLong family! If you are a new reader you’ll quickly find out that the “meaty” wedding photography blog posts come on Monday’s with Zac’s random personal content during the week. Come for the weddings, stay for the randomness!
