Ack! As I wrote about last week I am still behind on a lot of our recent photoshoots! This past weekend I had not one, but two weddings on Saturday – the first in Kennesaw/Woodstock and then an evening Indian Wedding Reception at Zyka for Nishi whom we photographed their engagement reception a few months ago. Today we have a quick post from Anna & Armando’s wedding which took place at Reception Hall International in Marietta, Georgia. My apologies in advance for the brevity of today’s photos as I really need to get back to editing KyAnne & Brett’s wedding video from last weekend in Tybee Island in addition to 2 more engagement sessions and 2 weddings!
Anna got ready at the Sheraton Suites Galleria, right at the intersection of I-285 and I-75 in Northwest Atlanta. Inside we had the amazing Mason of Airbrush by Mason helping the girls to get ready and bring out their inner beauty through subtle airbrush techniques.
We had a few hiccups with the limousine service but eventually we all made it to Reception Hall International in Marietta where both the ceremony and reception were taking place.
The ceremony was an intimate but packed room at the venue where the officiant gave some moving speeches. As Anna and Armando exchanged vows, they each brought tears to each other’s eyes. Unfortunately I lost some of the meaning as they were partly in Russian, but from the emotions displayed I am sure it was powerful.
The real fun started at the reception, where all of the families partook in a mix of Ukrainian and Russian wedding traditions and games.
The real fun was happening on the dance floor though! In between the games and family speeches, everyone was having a great time dancing the night away and enjoying the gracious hospitality of Reception Hall International.
Anna looking fabulous in her dress and dancing the night away with all of the attendees.
Anna and Armando sharing an intimate moment on the dance floor.
I have to say that I really loved the master of ceremonies that we had at Reception Hall International, he was so much fun even though I only understood him when he was speaking English and not Russian 🙂

Again, apologies readers for the quickness of today’s post! This post should have actually come before Latobia’s wedding at Primrose Cottage since Anna’s wedding was on Saturday and Latobia’s wedding was on Sunday – whoops! But now we are all caught up on that weekend’s weddings!!! Yeah!!! Next up we have KyAnne & Brett’s wedding on Tybee Island followed up by Trina & Shawn’s engagement session in Piedmont Park, Desiree & Greg’s wedding in Woodstock, Nishi’s Indian Wedding Ceremony at Zyka, and finally Sunday’s downtown urban engagement session with Rebekah and Lee! Whew!!! Oh, did I mention we have again 2 weddings for Memorial Day weekend??? Busy busy bees around here!
Until Wednesday… -Zac
