I felt like I needed to blog this shoot this week because I’m knee-deep in wedding video editing and won’t have any mid-week Atlanta wedding photography update blog posts until next Monday =). A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to photograph the beautiful Von Arx family at McDaniel Farm Park, a location that I love and was just at a couple days earlier taking wedding photos! Lindsay and Matt are great photographers in their own right, it’s always an honor to be asked to do something for a fellow photographer. Even though families and kids aren’t exactly my speciality, I hope I did them justice! Of course, when you have three beautiful people like them it’s pretty hard to mess up =)

I probably took more frames at this family session that I would at a full bridal or engagement photo shoot! Children’s photographers definitely have it tough to capture those fleeting expressions, you can’t really ask them to hold a pose like you can a bride and groom =)
