Personal | Recent Photos of Miles
With all of the posting of weddings and engagements lately, my only chance to “relax” is to edit more photos… but at least they’re photos of Miles! These past few months we have had both of my parents swing by Atlanta at different times to come visit, see Miles, and help watch Miles while Betty and I were off photographing a wedding together. Here are some A LOT of recent photos of Miles!
This first set was downtown at Woodruff Park where I was testing out the new Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II (Version 2) lens.
…and where Miles kept stealing my Glidecam
And then we were over at Centennial Park with Miles of course to play around with a Variable Neutral Density Filter and shooting flash in full afternoon sun…
Miles was not cooperating for photos while I was playing around with the flash
Miles also came with my Dad and I to go check out Cascade Springs Nature Preserve for a possible photo shoot location only to see that it closes at 3:30 PM. Well it was still a fun trip, I took a few photos and a video there:
Miles also went out to Piedmont Park and the playground there (shot with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 with the m.Zukio 45mm f/1.8 lens):
Some more photos with the OM-D E-M5 in the harsh afternoon light of Downtown Atlanta
One afternoon with my Mom we went over to the Silver Comet Trail area looking for new parks and also a side assignment to have Betty keep practicing her video moves with the Glidecam. Photos and a video taken with the OM-D E-M5 with the m.Zukio 45mm f/1.8 and Panasonic 20mm f/1.7
Video shot on the OM-D E-M5 🙂
Lastly, recently at Miles’ preschool it was “Dress Like a Pirate” Day in school, and we had an old Halloween costume that happened to be a pirate (that he never wore and is almost too big for). We tried to get him to wear it the night before to check if it fit, and while Miles didn’t really love the idea of the pirate hat he still wore it the next day at school.
