Personal | Recent Happenings With Miles! Day Out With Thomas 2013 & School Carnival
Just doing a quick post from what we’ve been up to lately – besides being up to our ears in weddings! Seriously, this Summer/Fall season has been I-N-S-A-N-E! Well I guess it’s like this every year, as the end is finally in sight! December and January only have 2 weddings each month, it’s not a month of 4 weddings with 3 of them being 3 or 4 day Indian Wedding =). A few weeks ago we took Miles to the Jungle Jam carnival at his preschool and then to the Day Out With Thomas event down in Cordele, GA! Even though we play with him all day around downtown here it’s fun to get out once in a while too. You may have already seen these photos on Instagram or Facebook so if so, just skip these as they’re all reposts then =)
Miles loves firemen and fire trucks if you couldn’t tell
Making sand art!
Miles really loved playing baseball and we had to go back to this booth 3 times. He would probably have gone more if I let him.
Petting zoo area
Taking a break to have a snack from the bake sale
With Mommy who was volunteering
Getting a tattoo
Hair coloring for Halloween
Showing off his car tattoo
After the Saturday morning Carnival I went off to a wedding (of course). And then the next day we all headed down to Cordele, GA which is about a 3 hour drive with bathroom breaks South of Atlanta. We ordered our tickets ages ago, and in retrospect with the late night wedding it might not have been that great of an idea to do the morning train ride haha. We made it down to Cordele though and Miles got to ride on a real train pulled by Thomas!
It’s Thomas the Tank Engine!
Of course we had to buy some souvenirs at the gift shop including a motorized Diesel 10 train.
Listening for Thomas’ steam whistle
And that ends a busy weekend! Saturday morning school carnival, Saturday afternoon/evening wedding, and finally a Sunday trip down to Cordele and back to see Thomas & Friends with Day Out With Thomas 2013!
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming of wedding photography blog posts!
