Pallavi & Arvind's Indian Engagement Session | Greeneway Park, Tutti Frutti, Putt Putt Golf | Augusta Destination Wedding Photographer

The almost forgotten engagement post finally arrives! Again, I don’t know how this one slipped through the cracks on the blog posting schedule. Anyway, here we go with a super-fun engagement session that I photographed back in um… April. Yep, well only a few months old and the wedding is not until December, so I think we still have plenty of time. But for this hard working couple, I’m sure the wedding will be here before they both know it! Pallavi and Arvind are both Doctors-to-be over at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. We had to shoot this engagement session in April and not closer to the wedding because Pallavi was getting matched soon and leaving Augusta. Since Augusta was where they first met, we chose some locations that were meaningful to them as well as general scenic spots, like Greeneway Park, before heading to their first date location (with a stop for their favorite Tutti Frutti on the way).

For such a photogenic couple they are tough to shoot… because Arvind makes Pallavi crack up laughing probably every five minutes or less =)

Their is just a slight height difference between these two, nothing noticeable of course.

After running around the park, we stopped at their favorite snack spot, Tutti-Frutti! I love the self-serve yogurt by the pound trend =)

And after yogurt, we went to their first date location, Putt-Putt Mini Golf! So we didn’t really “play” mini golf, but does anyone REALLY play? Ok, maybe the awkward father scolding the kid for missing the shot… Well, this is Augusta after all and it was actually Masters Weekend, so that might have been part of it.

Our plans to catch the sunset from the top of the hill at Putt-Putt fell through, so we dashed across the street to the train tracks. A bit cliche maybe, but we still caught the colors with this amazing couple!

Pallavi and Arvind, I can’t wait for your Indian wedding in Atlanta in December! Good luck with school in the mean time and we will see you then!
