On Location: Jackson, Georgia

I was thinking I really need to write some more mid-week blog posts instead of just weddings and photoshoots on Monday. Then I was thinking how I should blog about some of the great wedding venues we shot at over the past year like Vines Mansion, Ventanas, KTN Ballroom in Duluth, 5th Avenue Event Hall, Zyka… But ok that will be a forthcoming feature, what takes even less effort is just showcasing a small handful of photos from the television show I’m working on which is hopefully wrapping up soon-ish! You may remember an old post from November with set photos here. Now here is just a few from December, when we didn’t film much because of the holidays and everyone traveling. These shoots in Jackson, Georgia were really interesting because we were at a high school there, and yes I was getting just a little nostalgic for my own high school days =). Besides getting nostalgic I also had the opportunity to do a lot of filming myself, so I was actually filming on the 5D Mark II a lot, which is partly why I don’t have a ton of unique photos (a lot of the photos are of the stars so we’ll save those for when the show goes live).

Before we headed to the school we were at home doing some filming, and I just thought the framing here was interesting. Yes, he was actually mounted to the wall =)

School Daze

Then we went out to lunch at this little diner, and they had a “Kissin’ Booth” – basically a booth with only one side to it so any couple there had to sit side-by-side.

For the final location of the day we went to a doctor’s office in Peachtree City. I wish I was shooting photos out of the car window with all of the golf carts zipping around!
