Natasha & Zain | Atlanta Ismaili Indian Wedding at Opal Event Hall & Hilton Downtown Atlanta
This blog comes to you totally out of order for my list of “full Indian weddings that need to go on the blog” but I’m posting it anyway because this is the Atlanta Ismaili wedding I was actively editing right now so the photos are up and accessible and fresh in my mind. Not sure if being fresh is a good or bad thing here, as it’s sometimes good to let an Atlanta Indian wedding sit for a while and then come back to it so I don’t have as much of an emotional attachment to the images and can select them with a little less bias to how much fun I was having when I took that photo as opposed to how “good” the photo is by itself.
If you didn’t see the behind the scenes vlog for this Atlanta Ismaili Indian wedding it’s only a few posts back on the blog here but here is a link to the post, but the meat and potatoes of that blog post is this YouTube video of the wedding photography behind the scenes vlog itself so I’m just going to embed it here again:
Fun times as always! If you haven’t scrolled down to the photos yet let me just quickly list some of the venues that this 4 day Ismaili Indian wedding took place at if you’re curious as to where each photo came from.
Civil Ceremony at the Georgian Terrace Hotel and St. Marlo Country Club
Mehndi night at Opal Event Hall
Pithi/Sangeet night at Al-Noor Banquet Hall
Nikkah/Reception at the Hilton Downtown Atlanta
On to the wedding photos!! Day 1 was the Civil Ceremony with getting ready at the Georgian Terrace hotel and ceremony at St. Marlo Country Club:
Day 2 begins the Indian wedding portion of Natasha & Zain’s wedding week now that the Civil Ceremony is over. Before we headed to Opal Event Hall, we stopped by the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir for a quick portrait session.
Day 3! The Pithi and Sangeet of this Atlanta Ismaili Indian wedding took place at Al-Nooq Banquet Hall for another day full of activities!
Day 4, the final day of this Atlanta Ismaili Indian Wedding took place at the Hilton Atlanta Downtown for the reception:
Thanks Natasha and Zain for putting on an awesome wedding and thank you blog readers for making it this far all the way to the end 🙂
