Latobia & Richard's Primrose Cottage Wedding | Roswell, Georgia | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Ok here we go with another wedding on Monday! I still have about 3 weddings/engagements in the backlog, and it’s a very good thing to be busy every weekend with another shoot because I’m telling you babies are expensive! Miles just finished up another case of diapers so we just had another case of #2 diapers delivered today from Amazon – can you believe he already weighs 13 pounds? Also, Betty just *HAD* to get Miles a swing! He’s a very needy baby but that’s why we love him I guess 🙂

Sorry enough babies and back to weddings! After Friday’s engagement session at Roswell Mill, then Saturday’s wedding in Marietta, I was back in Roswell on Sunday for Latobia’s wedding at the Primrose Cottage. Now this is a great location up in Roswell that is basically an old cottage that has been completely transformed into a wedding and event venue while retaining all of the charm of the old house. Primrose Cottage’s parent company, Magic Moments Inc, also owns the stunning Little Gardens which was Betty and myself’s first wedding here in Atlanta and still ranks up there with one of our favorites!

Today I was actually the assistant videographer with Chris Brock Photography, but you know me I just HAD to take a few still photos with my Canon EOS 5D Mark II! Latobia had an absolutely lovely ceremony out on the back porch area of Primrose Cottage.

I loved that both the bride and groom wore white, so classy!

Then they jumped the broom to make it official!

After we finished videography for the wedding, we had a slight break while the official photographer did some formal family photos. We scouted a cool location at the front of the house to shoot the photo you see at the top of this blog post. We also took a few others:

I haven’t done this shot in a while, so I had the couple do a “ring shot” and Chris was apparently filming while I was doing this! Here is a behind the scenes video from our quick photography session with the bride and groom and the resulting image:

After the quick bride/groom portrait session it was time for the reception to begin! If you can’t tell, this was a New York themed wedding!

We snuck the couple aside for one more quick portrait in front of the cool rustic shack in the backyard again after Latobia changed dresses.

I sort of wish we were photographing the wedding instead of video taping it because Primrose Cottage is such a picturesque location! I still had an amazing time, I love weddings, the people, the events and everything else that goes on!

That gets me slightly caught up now, only 3 more events that I know of to catch up on for our Monday photography posts! On Wednesday I will post a few sneak previews of course as is the custom around here. Also, a quick shout-out to Nas and Amir, congratulations on booking us for your July wedding! I had the pleasure of meeting them again tonight (Monday) to go over a few more details about their upcoming wedding. Brides, we are still open for select 2011 dates so contact us soon! We have already started a few inquiries for 2012 so I’m excited to make even more amazing images next year!
