Krupa & Jesal | Roosevelt Island + SoHo + Brooklyn Indian Engagement Session

As their wedding week starts this week, it’s high time to post Krupa and Jesal’s New York City engagement session which we shot over the Summer around the city! From their apartment in Midtown West we headed all over the city, starting at Roosevelt Island on the East side before heading down to SoHo and finally over the bridge to DUMBO in Brooklyn. This Roosevelt Island, SoHo, and Brooklyn Indian engagement session all over New York City is one not to be missed!

Summer in the City, it’s hot, it’s crowded, and on a weekend afternoon? Double that! I suggested we sneak over to Roosevelt Island from their apartment on 57th, since it was directly across Manhattan. Well, we didn’t check the calendar and New York City’s annual Puerto Rican Day Parade happen to be closing half the streets up in Midtown so we sloooowly made our way across town to the tram. After we finally made it across we enjoyed the peace and quiet of Roosevelt Island compared to the hustle and bustle of Midtown just across the East River.

After playing around on Roosevelt Island for a bit we headed back to their apartment, and then shot straight down the Westside Highway to SoHo for a little more intimate feel of New York City. Krupa also changed into a saree at this point for some Indian flair in the city!

I love SoHo and I think Krupa and Jesal did too 🙂

After yet ANOTHER quick outfit change in a hotel lobby (thanks, Hilton SoHo!) we headed over to Brooklyn for our final stops of the day!

I love Brooklyn at sunset time, it’s just magical with the sun dipping behind the skyline of lower Manhattan!

As the sun set we crossed over the Brooklyn Bridge to the other side of the waterfront in the DUMBO area and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

I loved running around Brooklyn in the evening with these two on a perfect Summer day! Well, before any of these recent heat waves started at least! Early Summer in New York City is the best!

For our final (for real) stop during this New York City Brooklyn Indian engagement session, we swung by Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO for even more iconic photos of the Manhattan skyline at night!
