Jing & Ping Portrait Session in Downtown Atlanta
Before Jing and Ping left to go back to Chengdu, Sichuan, China we did a quick American-style photo session around Downtown Atlanta =). Even though they’ve been married for a while, they never actually had actual wedding photos taken. Well, I didn’t make them rent a dress and tuxedo, but we did have a great time taking lifestyle engagement style photos! We started in Centennial Olympic Park before doing a quick loop around Philips Arena and downtown Atlanta by Five Points.
Shooting here is always a race against the clock before the GWCC police/security come to tell us that we’re not supposed to take photos there or something. Somehow I think going to a public place like an Olympic monument with a giant flash and in a park is probably the worst way to take photos that could be used for any nefarious reasons… Is this area public property or private property? I’m not really sure as the MARTA station is right there and it’s a tribute monument to the 1996 Olympic Games.
