Franki & Josh’s Wedding | Hazlehurst House | McDonough Wedding Videographer

Happy Halloween! Okay, so Monday is officially Halloween but of course the weekend is when most people celebrated. Betty and I were shooting a wedding this Saturday of course but we still took some time to dress Miles up in his Halloween costume. I think we will try to shoot a few more photos of him in his panda outfit before he grows out of it! Okay, back to today’s wedding blog! Franki and Josh were married on the auspicious date of 9/10/11, though that didn’t really play into their beautiful wedding day. They were married at the Hazlehurst House just South of Atlanta in McDonough, Georgia. It’s a really cute old Southern-style house that has been converted into a wedding venue, much like the houses in Roswell like the Primrose Cottage or Little Gardens in Lawrenceville.

I don’t have many photos from this wedding because I was… dun dun dun… the videographer! We have been adding more and more video services to our wedding offerings and this was the perfect opportunity to focus solely on video. I have their wedding trailer coming up but first a few more images from the day that I took from time to time. Why take photos at all when shooting video? For one I just can’t help it, but also I needed a few pictures for the DVD case and for menus =)

After the ceremony Franki changed into her party dress which I love!!

I love the car, they had this beautiful Rolls Royce as their departure vehicle. I thought it would be really cool shooting straight into the lights with the full moon behind them, I think it came out pretty good =)

Ok, on to the wedding video trailer! I edited together their First Look to a quick wedding trailer which I really love. Franki is a big Taylor Swift fan and I think the song works perfectly. Enjoy this wedding video!
