Atlanta Streets Alive 2013
We had a pretty amazing weekend, so I wanted to write up a quick blog post to share some photos from Sunday! On Saturday I had a wedding over at Flint Hill in Norcross which went on flawlessly even with the threat of rain all day. Well, the rain decided to come on Sunday and postponed a bridal session I was supposed to be shooting. Instead, we were able to sneak over to Atlanta Streets Alive for a bit longer than we were initially planning to (because I would have to leave early for the bridal shoot). The rain gave us a break here in downtown around 3pm, and we were able to enjoy a completely empty Peachtree Street for three full hours. It did rain here and there on us, but luckily the hardest rain didn’t happen until right as the event was wrapping up around 6:00 PM. Here are some photos of us and Miles playing in the middle of Peachtree Street in Downtown Atlanta! We went to the last Atlanta Streets Alive and shared some photos here, this year was even better with the route taking place along Peachtree Street!
This is what Peachtree Street and Atlanta normally looks like on any day of the week, even Sunday! Ok, traffic may have been slightly worse this weekend with President Obama in town and the bad weather, but still a common sight even on sunny days!
