Amanda & Michael's Wedding | The Club at River Forest | Forsyth Wedding Photographer

Another beautiful Premier Wedding Photography Group wedding, this weekend we headed South of Atlanta to Forsyth to meet our bride and groom: Amanda and Michael. This is definitely one of the benefits to being a wedding photographer, getting to travel all around the Atlanta metro area to visit these amazing venues. Betty and I packed up our gear and hit to road for the hour drive South on I-75. After driving to what seems like the smallest exit on the interstate, we turned down the road to find River Forest which is a large golf country club community tucked away just off the interstate!

Amanda had previously worked at The Club at River Forest, so this wedding was a dream come true for her I am sure. Seeing brides here and there during work and now finally experiencing the thrill of a wedding herself. Amanda decided to see Michael before the ceremony to do formals ahead of time, giving us some good flexibility since the weather was cooperating perfectly to a cool 75 or so on a beautiful Georgia afternoon.

As you can see, the guys definitely knew how to have fun. We grabbed a few formals in front of the clubhouse before heading down to the golf course to a great location that Amanda knew of.

We moved around a bit during the session and finally we shot probably my favorite shot of the day as a family photo. The sky was beautiful all day with some slight cloud cover breaking up the sky and creating beautiful backgrounds.

And finally… the ceremony.

During the hustle and bustle after the ceremony I whisked the newlyweds off behind the clubhouse and had them take some time alone before getting caught up again in family time. I was able to capture some intimate moments of Amanda and Michael as the sun began to set. I love this couple!

The light was gorgeous, I highly recommend The Club at River Forest!

The reception was perfect indoors at the clubhouse, perfect size space for our lovely intimate wedding. We danced the night away and celebrated Amanda and Michael’s new life together!
