Wat Florida Dhammaram Temple – A place for colors

Life Travel

After we fell in love with photography, we fell in love with colors. So looking for colors around us becomes part of our day to day task. Then when we heard about this Thai temple- Wat Florida Dhammaram, we had no hesitation to go there to search for colors.

We ran into the monk when we just parked our car. We said Hi and carefully asked for permission to take photos inside the temple. Very generously, he not only allowed us to take photos, but also modeled for us. (Well, we did not ask him to sign a release!!!) We were amazed by the color of the temple, and of course, Zac shot many HDR. We would recommend any photographers going there for photos in a quiet week day. The temple will be busy for weekend worship.

After photographing in Sydney, Australia for a little over a week with both a destination Indian wedding and a couple days of personal travel, I took a few more days to travel for myself and ended up in Tokyo, Japan. I came back with tons and tons of photos, time lapses, and videos... with no real idea how I could possibly organize them and present them to the world! I think the video will come separately, and for now I will try to present everything I did each day as a way to share w ...

Fall in the City | New York City with the Sony A7R 2014
Going through some older photos from the end of 2014, here are a few from some walks around Manhattan =). Besides eating lots of ramen and drinking espresso, I love checking out the city for cool New York City engagement session locations or places for a pre-wedding photo shoot. These first few photos were taken with the handy Sony A7R, my favorite walk around camera (and reviewed as a wedding photographer's camera in these links to other blog posts). Check out a few photos from this random afternoon grabbing some ramen and walking around the Chinatown/Brooklyn Bridge area of lower Manhattan with the A7R! ...
