Summer Vacation | China Trip 2015 Day 5 | Xiamen University + Train Travel

China Travel

Another quick blog post from our China Summer Vacation! Mainly because I’m sitting here waiting for Adobe Lightroom to render photos from the next day of the wedding I am currently editing and I’m anxious to be doing something right now (since it’s the middle of the night anyway). Day 5 was our last day in Xiamen, and we spent it roaming around the city a bit more, visiting Xiamen University and seeing some of Betty’s old classmates! Xiamen University was SUPER packed with tourists, it was kind of hard to believe that students were pretty much gone for the Summer since their were so many families walking around. That evening we caught the train heading to our next destination, Wuyi Mountain, for the next set of blog posts!

Travel | Japan Day 3 – Mt Fuji Sengen Shrine, Oshino Hakkai, Maid Cafe, Tokyo SkyTree
This is the last of my blog mini-series about my Japan trip to Tokyo and Saitama in January, 2013. Click this link for the rest of the posts categorized in Japan Travel. This is actually my third FULL day in Japan, but also my final fourth day which was supposed to be just a travel day but turned into a bit more with the snow, read below to see how that turned out =). After FINALLY meeting up with Tomomi and her family the night before, we set off to compress everything that we had planned to do the previous day into just one day in Japan, which meant a bit of travel and scheduling craziness... which we somehow survived! The day started with ...

Our First Trip Together
It is a make-up post for our first trip ever together. The saying is that if a couple can get along well in a trip, then they can get along well in their marriage. So we were nervous, but of course, we got along super well. Woman is always the one deciding the direction, so I decided going to Savannah, GA for a short road trip.  I always saw introduction in TV and was intrigued to see this old town. On the way to Savannah, we also stopped by St. Augustine, FL, a beautiful harbor city by Florida east coast. [flickr]set:72157622227727000[/flickr] St. Augustine is a very nice beach town with buildings of south-American style. We wondered arou ...

Behind the Scenes Vlog #3 | Adiba & Vishal’s Fusion Indian Wedding at Aqua Turf Club – Plantsville, Connecticut
Week #3 in a row means Vlog #3 in a row! This time I get to stay semi-close to home as I headed up to Plantsville, Connecticut for Adiba & Vishal's fusion Indian wedding at the Aqua Turf Club! Surprisingly, I think this was my first time up in Connecticut and the drive from Long Island wasn't too bad at all. Well, during rush hour the Waze/Google times were pretty frightening but on the weekend, other than a little traffic through the Bronx and near Stamford, it was smooth driving. This was an amazing wedding at a great venue, I had a ton of fun working with Eileen Smith Events for the planning, Sonia C for hair and makeup, and Mango Tree ...
