Summer Vacation | China Trip 2015 Day 12 | Jingan Temple & The Bund Shanghai

China Travel

Day 12 was our second day in Shanghai for our China Vacation 2015, and we explored some of the more touristy things that the city has to offer, but of course I did go back to The Bund in the evening to check out more of the famous skyline views! Another day putting the Sony A7ii to the test as a travel camera!

Of course writing this I totally forget the name, but this was another temple in Shanghai that I was able to get taking a tourist sightseeing bus :)

The famous singles market in Shanghai! Parents come here to meet other parents and try to play matchhmaker. On the front of the umbrellas are their kid’s qualifications :)

Jumping on the Big Bus Shanghai I took the option to go to the top of the Jing Mao building where I attempted to catch a sunset. With the fog and smog today I didn’t really see the sun and the view was rather cloudy, but it still was an amazing view!

48 Hours in Paris, France with the Sony A7ii | Travel Blog
Continuing the last blog post, which was a blitz through part of Europe's Schengen Area, landing in Oslo and taking the train down to Copenhagen. After jumping on a flight from Copenhagen, I was off to Paris for a few days! Luckily, the gloomy weather in Northeastern Europe gave way to sunny skies in France, which made a pleasant couple of days in Paris, though for the photos I would have preferred a few clouds for those dramatic skies. I stayed in a hostel in Paris, which is always fun, since I was solo traveling with just my backpack I didn't need all of the comforts of a proper hotel without Betty or Miles with me. Two days totally free in ...

End of Summer in New York City | Family Sunday at the Central Park Zoo & Roosevelt Island
Fall weather is arriving and the temperature up here in New York is just amazing right now! Friday I was down in Atlanta shooting a beautiful wedding at Jaffari Center, pouring rain all day outside on Friday and raining all day Saturday for my flight back home to New York. Saturday afternoon and Sunday? Amazing 75 degree Fall weather - while it is pouring rain in Atlanta. Ah, the difference of a thousand miles :). We decided to take advantage of the great weather, and the fact that I was only gone for 1 day this weekend for the wedding so I was home on Sunday, to head into New York City with Miles and take him to the Central Park Zoo and Roos ...

Beijing Day 1 & 2: Temple of Heaven and Great Wall
To give our readers a break from people photography, I wanted to include a few shots from our trip to China in May, 2010. We flew from Orlando into Beijing to start our trip, and after that 13 hour nonstop flight from Newark we definitely needed to get out and stretch our legs! After landing and checking into the beautiful Beijing Marriott City Wall, we jumped in the ever-prevalent taxi cab and headed to the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven itself is rather small compared to the giant park area surrounding it, also encompassing the Hall of Good Harvest in the same complex. After taking some of those typical postcard shots of the comp ...
