Recent Work | Yusra & Rahil’s Pakistani Muslim Wedding at Fort Gordon & Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place

Indian Wedding Muslim Wedding Wedding

Ah another great wedding in Augusta! Yusra & Rahil wrapped up my month-long expedition to beautiful Augusta, Georgia with a wedding there every weekend for 4 weeks straight. At least for Sunday’s Walima we were back in Atlanta! Friday’s Mehndi and Saturday’s Baraat were both held at the Fort Gordon Officer’s Club (South and North halls), with the final Valima at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place. This wedding also has the distinction of being the hottest wedding of the year, as this was the weekend that we had that record heat wave and it was 106 or higher even in Augusta! Luckily these were indoor weddings =). On to a few quick preview photos from these weddings, full wedding post coming up in a few weeks once I finish the wedding video as well!

We took A LOT of group wedding photos on the stages each night, but I had to get one of all of us! Dennis on the left of me and of course Betty on the far end with our beautiful bride and groom sandwiched between us =)

Sorry for the flood of photos for just the preview! It’s hard to shoot my usual 5-6 photos when it’s THREE WHOLE DAYS of wedding excitement! I tried to stick to the 3-4 rule per day =). Check back in a few weeks for the full blog post with TONS of photos from each day!

A couple of weeks ago I finally had the opportunity to complete part 2 of this anniversary bridal shoot for Suhana and Rajib! I can't believe it was so long ago when we did the first bridal shoot at Sope Creek. We never got in the water that time but we had planned on it, and finally made it come true on Memorial Day. Better late than never, right? Here are a few previews from this shoot! More to come in a few weeks on a full blog post =)

Previsualization in Wedding Photography [Atlanta Wedding Photographer]
This post is part of a series on wedding photography where we will walk through an overview of our entire wedding process. Do you Previsualize? I’ve raced two Ironman triathlons, requiring hours and hours of training in the pool, on the bike, and on the street. During those hour long swims or six hour long bike rides I would visualize the race itself in my mind: “On race day, how will I be feeling if I know I just swam 2.4 miles and I’m halfway through this bike ride with a full marathon ahead of me?” This would help put me in a frame of reference to either pace myself better or fuel better – and I have to admit I think it really helped me d ...
