Indian Wedding Muslim Wedding Wedding

Hmm so how do you effectively blog an event as special as a destination wedding on another continent? Especially when their was not just one or two days of events, but SIX days of Indian wedding festivities??? This thought has been running through my head all evening as I wrap up some of the events from Natasha & Karim’s destination Indian wedding in Parramatta and Sydney, Australia. Clearly, the main blog pot is going to be I-N-S-A-N-E with 6 days of wedding events, and when I try to limit these preview posts to around 5 photos, that leaves me with just one photo to sum up each day! To make the compromise, and to try to get as much Google SEO juice out of keywords for Destination Wedding in Sydney or Sydney Indian Wedding Photography, I am going to split the events over a couple of mini posts as I finish editing =). Hopefully this helps to showcase the crazy/amazing week that was Natasha and Karim’s destination Ismaili Indian wedding in Parramatta and Sydney, Australia! Here are a few of my favorite photos from New Year’s Day 2013, the mehndi party!

Shelley & CJ’s Wedding | The Georgian Terrace Hotel & Piedmont Park | Atlanta Wedding Photography
Shelley and CJ have an infectious love for each other, seeing the huge smiles that each has when with the other makes you feel like they're in on a secret that you want to be part of. Maybe true love is that secret. As sappy and romantic as that sounds these two lovebirds are definitely head over heels for each other. That much was immediately apparent during their engagement session when I got to know them a little better, but became open for their closest friends and family to see one Saturday afternoon at the Georgian Terrace Hotel in Midtown Atlanta. It was a gorgeous Fall day in Atlanta and after a full day wedding ceremonies inside the ...

Ronnie & Benny | Hawk’s Cay Fusion Jewish Indian Wedding in the Florida Keys | New York Destination Wedding Photographer
Fusion Jewish Indian Wedding in the Florida Keys at Hawk's Cay Resort This fusion Jewish Indian wedding kicks off in my home state of Florida and was an awesome way for all of us New Yorkers to have a winter break. And this was not just a cool fusion wedding but also a destination Indian wedding as everyone in attendance was from New York or New Jersey, yay for getting away from the cold Northeast in Winter! Not that December was particularly cold this year, it's still warm right now in January with very little snow! Taking off from JFK in New York in 40-degree weather and landing in 70-degree weather in Miami, Florida was more than welcome! ...

Atlanta Marriott Marquis Wedding | Raquel & Garnet | New York Destination Wedding Photographer
Always a refreshing change of pace to see something besides an Indian wedding here on the blog, eh? While I love photographing South Asian brides and grooms, I'm not opposed to doing American weddings either =D. Over the Summer I flew down from New York to photograph the lovely wedding of Raquel and Garnet which took place at the always-amazing Atlanta Marriott Marquis! This was nostalgia time for me as well as the Marquis was only a few blocks away from where we lived in Downtown Atlanta. After the ceremony we walked a few blocks down to the Suntrust building and took a few portraits there outdoors before heading back to the reception. At th ...
