Manisha & Ali | Central Park & Brooklyn Bridge | New York City Indian Wedding Photographer

Engagement

Manisha and Ali were up here in New York City for a family event, so what better excuse to spend a couple hours for a quick anniversary engagement-style session with me! We didn’t have a ton of time since this session wasn’t their only reason for the trip to NYC so we did a few quick shots at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park before heading over to Brooklyn to catch the skyline view from Brooklyn Bridge Park. Fighting the rain was also a reason we were pretty tight on time and it was clearly pouring rain by the time we got over to Brooklyn for the night time photos. The rain definitely gives these a more Bollywood fashion look to them, so it was definitely worth getting soaked for the great shots! Manisha is also a wedding photographer herself (and has second shot with me at my weddings), so be sure to check her site out at Manisha Moments!

Kanwal & Ali’s Engagement | Downtown Atlanta, MARTA, Centennial Park, Finger Painting | Atlanta Indian Ismaili Engagement Photography
This blog post is going to be actually two engagement sessions in one, but for the same couple hehe. With all of the great ideas we had for Kanwal & Ali's engagement session, and the number of locations, it just made sense to split things up over two separate shoots. With this taking place in late December when things were a tad slower, only 2 weddings, it was easy on the sometimes hectic photography schedule as well. As Kanwal & Ali's epic multi-day Indian wedding gears up for this weekend, it is a lot of fun to look back on the fun we had a couple months ago and know that this weekend's wedding photography at Occasions and the Hyatt ...
