Kanwal & Ali’s Mehndi Night | Atlanta Indian Ismaili Wedding Photography

Indian Wedding Muslim Wedding Wedding

Kanwal & Ali’s 4-day Indian wedding celebration kicked off with the Mehndi night and henna party at the community center for the bride’s side and Ali’s house for the groom’s side. We started the evening on the groom’s side, headed over to the bride’s side, and then back to the groom’s for the night’s final festivities. Luckily it was all in the same area up around Snellville =). Lots and lots of fun that certainly set the stage for the rest of the wedding events that followed!

Nadia & Sohail’s Pithi Dholki Night | Occasions Event Center | Atlanta Indian Ismaili Wedding Photography
After the first night's mehndi party at the Atlanta Hilton Northeast, the wedding moved over to Occasions Event Center on Friday night for the Dholki/Pithi ceremony! Lots of excitement and of course, a bit of a mess during the egg ceremony, as this Atlanta Ismaili Indian Wedding kicked into high gear! Here are a few (hundred) of my favorite photos from the evening!! The photos start rather tame with a few details and the Pithi but keep scrolling for the crazy egg ceremony and of course the dancing and celebrating later in the evening!! Bonus edit, click ahead to see the Nikkah and Reception at the Atlanta Hilton Northeast here! ...

*Update* This wedding was later fully blogged here, click through this link to see all of the photos! *Update* Another quick recent work post from Sani & Javed's wedding! Well, this event at the Jaffari Center was the first for the wedding weekend itself, as the mehndi took place on the prior weekend at Lal Qila. This was also our first time at the Jaffari Center of Atlanta, a beautiful venue that we would be back at the next day after the Imam Zamin/Aameen for the Nikkah as well! Here are a few quick previews from the Imam Zamin and Aameen from the wedding! Just like the last blog post from the Mehndi, more of these sneak p ...

Recent Work | Megan & Tom’s Wedding | Hazlehurst House | McDonough Wedding Photographer
Sometimes rain is a bad thing, but on a wedding day you make the best of it! Megan and Tom's wedding at the Hazlehurst House in McDonough, Georgia took place on an overcast March evening but the rain held off until the evening luckily! We were able to have the ceremony outdoors and then bring the party inside all night long. We did sneak out during the reception for couple's portraits when the rain finally arrived, and turned lemons into lemonade with a pretty cool portrait in the rain. Hopefully the rain on the forecast for this weekend in Atlanta holds off long enough for amazing wedding photos once again! More photos from this H ...
