Jessica & Emran | Fusion Ismaili Latin Indian Wedding at Opal Event Hall & 1001 Nights

Indian Wedding Wedding

You may remember this couple from their Long Island City Civil Ceremony and Jackson Heights PreWedding in New York City which was on the blog waaaaay back when. The wedding took place shortly thereafter down in Atlanta, but I had not had a chance to post this on the blog until now! Day 1 of this fusion Pakistani Latin wedding took place at the Opal Event Hall and was the Ismaili Pithi and Sangeet night event.

Day 2 of this Fusion Ismaili Indian Wedding was the Nikkah ceremony at Jamatkhana and then a slightly different take on a reception at 1001 Nights Persian Cuisine! Lots of eating and lots of dancing as the Latin part of this wedding was really coming through at the reception!

Thanks for checking out this Fusion Indian Wedding at Opal Event Hall and 1001 Nights!

Now that the 2016 Year in Review blog post is done, I can get back to blogging weddings from foreeeever ago in 2016! At least this wedding was published on Maharani Weddings? Friday Preview | Janella & Chuck’s Engagement Session at Three Chimneys Farm
Hopefully this full blog post for Janella & Chuck's engagement session goes live on Monday... but we'll see! We have a super crazy weekend coming up with a Valima in Houston, Texas on Saturday and then I travel to another destination Indian wedding on Sunday! Yes, I'll be ringing in the New Year on the plane I think, and missing another New Year's Eve in Atlanta (last year we were photographing Z & A's Pakistani Muslim Wedding in Augusta on New Year's Eve 2011). Well, I'm keeping this blog post short on a Friday as I need to get back to packing and wrapping up a million other things before tomorrow!
2013 Wedding Photography Year In Review
Wow, what a year! Just when you thought 2012 was crazy with nonstop weddings, 2013 decided to take it one step further! I rang in the New Year last year over the Pacific flying direct from Dallas, Texas where we covered a Valima to Sydney, Australia to cover the next wedding on January 1st. What started there ended just last Sunday on December 29th with our final wedding of the year =). All in all we covered 31 different weddings, with total coverage of 51 days of wedding activities! While we did 6 fewer weddings than 2012, we did waaaaay more multiple day South Asian weddings which kept us even more busy! It was really hard to choose photos ...
