Indian Wedding Photography Behind the Scenes Vlog #7 | Dolly & Viraj’s New York City & Brooklyn Engagement Session

Behind the Scenes Vlog Indian Wedding

This week’s New York Indian engagement session was a little different than usual, where we shot the night photos FIRST, and then daytime photos the following day. Dolly flew into New York City on Tuesday evening and went straight from the airport to Brooklyn where we took some photos along the waterfront in DUMBO and the Brooklyn Piers, not a normal day to start your engagement session at 11 PM :). Somehow they survived the late night, no sleep, no food, travel day and we started the NEXT day at 3pm in Manhattan taking photos in Central Park and a little bit of Midtown for some bright green photos in the park, at the Bethesda Fountain and Bethesda Terrace, and then a few photos along 5th Avenue in Midtown. Both Dolly and Viraj were amazing to work with bringing a ton of energy and smiles with them to New York City, I can’t wait for their blockbuster Bollywood Indian Wedding in a few months!

This vlog ends at the airport, as I went straight from their engagement session to JFK airport myself where I left for another fully Indian Wedding in Washington, DC this Memorial Day weekend! So rather than one long MegaVlog with both an engagement session and a multi-day wedding, one vlog will end and the next will begin at the airport for Ann & Shams’ fusion Vietnamese Indian Wedding in Washington, DC!

All footage shot on the Sony RX100V this week with new settings yet again for this vlog compared to previous vlogs :)

Fusion Jewish Indian Wedding in the Florida Keys at Hawk's Cay Resort This fusion Jewish Indian wedding kicks off in my home state of Florida and was an awesome way for all of us New Yorkers to have a winter break. And this was not just a cool fusion wedding but also a destination Indian wedding as everyone in attendance was from New York or New Jersey, yay for getting away from the cold Northeast in Winter! Not that December was particularly cold this year, it's still warm right now in January with very little snow! Taking off from JFK in New York in 40-degree weather and landing in 70-degree weather in Miami, Florida was more than welcome! ...
Saaraa & Naim’s Pithi | Occasions Event Hall | Atlanta Ismaili Indian Wedding Photography
Day 2 of Saaraa & Naim's Ismaili wedding celebration was the pithi ceremony which took place at Occasions Event Hall. Pithi night is definitely one of my favorite parts of the wedding with lots of dancing, events, and of course the egg ceremony =). With so much action going on during just the second day of this Ismaili wedding, of course I had to post a ton of the photos here to the blog. From the bride's pithi ceremony, to the groom's egg ceremony, and then the evening reception which included several performances and skits about how the lovely couple met, this was a night to remember. Check out just a few of these fun photos from anothe ...
