Houston Texas Indian Wedding Anniversary Shoot | Samrina & Fraz | Tout Suite Downtown Houston

Engagement Indian Wedding Muslim Wedding

Here’s a super quick blog post from a photo session I did just YESTERDAY, but it was a quick one so it’s much easier to post this than a full wedding like I normally would. This Thanksgiving I was in Dallas and Houston for Farah and Naveed’s Indian Wedding, and after the wedding was finished on Saturday I had Sunday to myself and met up with my past bride and groom Samrina and Fraz in Downtown Houston! After some great coffee and conversation at Tout Suite, we did a quick 10-minute anniversary photo shoot in the parking lot :). So, not a TON of photos, but I do love them so much!

So much fun hanging out with these two! You can find their full Indian wedding which took place in Augusta, Georgia on the blog here. Thanks for hanging out with me Thanksgiving weekend in Houston you two!

More content coming on the blog sooooooon….ish :). As December nears we only have a few more weddings left in 2016 and the snow is about to hit New York, so things will quiet down a bit until Spring. Time to get all the backlog of editing done and more blog posts with fabulous Indian Weddings online!

Engagement Shoot with Karla & Paul
The weekend before we left Orlando, Betty had found us a friend of a friend that wanted new photos taken of them even though they had been married for a few years already. Apparently Karla was not satisfied with the way her wedding photos turned out; when her photographer promised her “relaxed and casual” they turned out rather stiff and formal. After our brief introductory chat Betty and I knew our mission: get these two lovebirds to open up and relax! Our first couple of shots were admittedly not the best; Paul had his tie on and had a tough time getting in the mood for photos. This is Central Florida (Winter Park) after all, so 5pm it w ...

Recent Work | Hang & Bory’s Engagement Session | Palace of Fine Arts | San Francisco Destination Engagement Photography
Flight delays, foggy weather, great food, and sleeping in an airport. All in a day's work, right? First, the flight out of Atlanta was delayed a couple of hours due to fog and upon arriving, I can see why! We headed to the Golden Gate Bridge area first which was almost completely engulfed in a thick layer of fog. We then headed to the nearby Palace of Fine Arts where we were able to spend more time and really glad we did, because our later attempts to go back to the bridge and to Twin Peaks were met with tons and tons of fog even later in the night. Still got some amazing pictures though and had a great time despite Mother Nature getting in o ...

Downtown St. Petersburg Engagement Session
We had the opportunity to shoot my sister Adelle and her fiance, Joe this past weekend back in my home town of St. Petersburg. Joe proposed during a carriage ride in downtown and they are going to be holding their wedding at the History Museum also located downtown, so naturally we headed back downtown for an engagement shoot. Shooting family is easy because you already know the people you are shooting. Shooting family is difficult because you already know the people you are shooting. Yeah it's a little weird to say to your future brother-in-law to kiss your sister repeatedly in front of you, but we all eventually loosened up a bit. We star ...
