Andrea & Shaun's Wedding | Primrose Cottage | Roswell Wedding Photographer
Friday weddings are fun because they are usually a more intimate affair than grandiose Saturday events can be. Usually it’s only the close family and friends who make it. On the bright side though, after partying hard on Friday night you have two whole days to recover! Well, I shot another wedding the next day, but the lovely bride and groom and their guests had plenty of time =). We started the day at the Holiday Inn down the street before heading over to the wedding venue, the popular Primrose Cottage in Roswell, Georgia.
After the girls finished getting ready at Primrose Cottage, we headed outside for some group photos of the guys and girls together… but separate. No first look tonight, but I still had fun with both groups. I started asking the girls to pose and one of the bridesmaids remarked that we were creating a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” photo shoot… well, that might not have been my exact intention but I loved the photo we got =)
The reception hall eagerly awaiting guests =)
Ceremony time! Shaun’s first look at his bride walking down the aisle is priceless…
Sand ceremony
On to the reception and first dances!
Reception quiz game to see how well the guests know the bride and groom…
Cutting the cake
During the reception I snuck Andrea and Shaun off to do some portraits in Primrose’s garden where the outdoor wedding ceremony took place. It was well past dark at this point so instead of natural light portraits we added a bit of flash to create something a bit more moody.
Then it was back to the reception to finish off a night of celebrating with more dancing and partying!!
